Moving the cattle
Just another day in the saddle.
Tonight we went for a drive around the ranch, everything is so beautiful and green.
The sky is amazing, and the color's are so vivid!
This ground was all torn up.
this is from the wild hog's.
I could not believe the damage they caused.
It looked like a tiller went through the soil.
Old dwellings
Beautiful tanks
Little frog.
Huge Oak Tree
So amazing
Old Home site
This well is dry.
The brick work always amazes me.
Well's were dug by hand, and then lined to seal off the water.
This well was lined with Mexia Brick
Left over chimney's
Old Barn
Beautful home site
Inside the barn
two baby buzzards.
Only a face a mother could love!
So cool to find a vulture's nest.
These tanks are so beautiful
So out on the tree over the water.
A Water Moccasin was all curled up (maybe sleeping)?
Blue Bonnet and Yellow Mustard flower
The field was just covered with the two flowers.
Field planted in oats, very green
We came home stepped out of the truck and this
Water Moccasin was lurking in the grass.
Luckly Elder Gibson
saw it before he stepped on it.
Yuckky!
Plus we saw on more Water Moccasin sliding across the road
before we got home.
The Critters are out!
